NEET UG - BAMS/BHMS Admission Process

Stage 1 - Special Counselling Forms

  • Forms to fill even before NEET exam
  • Gives you eligibility to get admission into very good medical colleges.
  • If you miss them, you will not be able to participate in some counsellings.

Stage 2 - NEET Registration Form

  • Form to be filled to register for NEET exam.
  • Candidate should fill it very carefully as it defines your profile for NEET Counselling later on.
  • Required Photo, Signature, Hand prints and other details.

Stage 3 - NEET Exam

  • Exam to get admission into MBBS, BDS and AYUSH Courses.
  • Happens once in a year in May.
  • Exam Pattern - 180 Questions, 180 Minutes
  • Need to carry Admit Card and Follow dress codes and Do's and Dont's.

Stage 4 - NEET Result

  • Result Scorecard which will give you a chance to get admission into medical college
  • Contains NEET Score, NEET Rank and Category Rank
  • It also shows the minimum qualification score to be achieved to sit in NEET Counselling

Stage 5 - All India Counselling - AACCC

  • AYUSH Counselling to get admission into All India Govt. Colleges (15%), Central Universities, Govt. Aided Colleges and Deemed Colleges.
  • Starts with release of Information Brochure which defines the counselling rules.
  • Registration required to participate - Form, Documents and Fees to be submitted.
  • Generally 4 counselling rounds are there - Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Stray Vacancy Round

Stage 6 - State Counselling

  • AYUSH Counselling to get admission into State Govt. Medical Colleges (85%) and Private Medical Colleges for your domicile states.
  • Starts with release of Information Brochure which defines the counselling rules.
  • Registration required to participate - Form, Documents and Fees to be submitted.
  • Generally 4 counselling rounds are there - Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Stray Vacancy Round

Stage 7 - College Joining

  • Candidate joins the medical college alloted through AACCC/AYUSH Counselling.
  • Fees along with documents to be submitted
  • Candidate can resign from college or upgrade the college as per Counselling Rules.

Final Stage - Fee Refund

  • Security Money deposited at the time of Counsellinggets refunded.
  • Refund comes only if you have not broken any rule of counselling.
